Plans and billing
Anything we can give away is free. Pro covers only what costs us to run.
Mach Studio is local-first, and the principle behind pricing is simple: anything we can give away is free. Pro covers only the hosted services that cost us to run.
Free
No account needed. Free forever:
- Local models: Mach, MLX, and llama.cpp models running on your computer.
- Bring your own keys and subscriptions: your own API keys for cloud providers, and your own Claude Code, Codex CLI, and OpenCode accounts.
- Your own Composio key for connecting integrations directly.
- Custom MCP servers.
Usage based
Sign in, add credits, and pay per token for cloud models from the Syzygy catalog. There is no subscription. Credits are managed from your dashboard.
Pro
Pro is $20 a month and includes:
- $20 of inference credits every month for cloud models.
- Hosted integrations: 150+ apps connected through your Syzygy account, plus event triggers.
- Automations that run on a schedule or in response to events.
- Remote control from any browser.
- Cloud environments.
Where to manage billing
Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Manage Account. This opens your dashboard at app.withsyzygy.com, where you upgrade, add credits, and change payment details. Every Upgrade to Pro button in the app opens the same page, and the app notices the upgrade on its own once it goes through.
When credits run out
If a cloud model request cannot run because your account is out of credits, the chat shows an Out of credits card with three choices:
- Open billing to add credits in your browser.
- Try again to re-run the same request after topping up, without retyping it.
- Use a local model to switch the chat to a model on your computer and keep going for free.
On the free plan
Pro features pause rather than disappear. Saved automations are kept but do not run. Integrations you connected directly on this computer stay available, while hosted integrations and event triggers wait for Pro. Local models, your own keys, and your own harness accounts are never affected.
