Cloud environments and remote control
Cloud environments and remote control
Run a session on this computer, on another of your computers, or in the cloud, and reach it from wherever you are.
Mach Studio is not tied to one machine. A session can run on the computer in front of you, on another computer you own, or in a cloud environment that Mach Studio hosts for you. And once a session is running, you can pick it up from another computer or from a browser.
Where a session can run
Every new session starts with an Environment choice in the composer:
- This computer. The default. Local models, your own keys, and your own files. Free on every plan.
- Another of your computers. Pair two computers signed in to the same account, and start sessions on either one from the other. Free on every plan.
- A cloud environment (Pro). A hosted workspace with its own disk and its own chats. It sleeps when idle and wakes when you send a message, so your work keeps going when your laptop is closed.
How you can reach a session
- From a paired computer. Sessions with remote control turned on show up in the sidebar of every computer you have paired, where you can read and drive them.
- From a browser (Pro). Turn on remote control for a session and make this computer discoverable, then open it at
app.withsyzygy.com/remotefrom any browser signed in to your Syzygy account. - From anywhere, for cloud sessions. Chats on a cloud environment appear on every device signed in to your account, with no pairing needed.
Where to go next
- Pair your computers: connect two computers with a matching code.
- Run a session on another computer: pick a remote environment in the composer.
- Cloud environments (Pro): what they are and how to create one.
- Run a session in the cloud: start a cloud session and move between cloud and local work.
- Control a session remotely (Pro): open a session in your browser.
- Manage devices and access: review, unpair, and reset.
