Control a session remotely (Pro)
Share a session from this computer and read or drive it from a paired computer or any browser.
Remote control lets you follow a session that is running on this computer from somewhere else: a paired computer, or a browser on any device. You see the same chat, send the next message, and check files and changes, while the work keeps running here.
Remote control is part of Pro. Turning it on for a session needs an active Pro plan. You can always turn it off.
Turn on remote control for a session
- In the sidebar, hover the session and click its actions button.
- Choose Enable remote control.
The session's hover card now reads Remote control enabled. Every chat in the session is shared, including chats you add later. Other sessions on the same project stay private.
To stop sharing, open the same menu and choose Disable remote control. Remote viewers lose access right away. The work on this computer continues.
Make this computer discoverable
Open Settings → Remote Control and turn on Discoverable on your account. This lets browsers and computers signed in to your account find this computer and ask to connect. Turning it off blocks new connections. Pairings you already approved keep working.
Open a session in your browser
- On any device, go to
app.withsyzygy.com/remoteand sign in with Syzygy. - The first time, the browser asks for approval. Mach Studio on this computer shows a dialog with a six-digit Pairing code, and the browser shows one too.
- Compare the codes. If they match, confirm it on this computer. If they differ, click Deny.
Once approved, the browser shows this computer's shared sessions. Open one to read along or send the next message. If you have several computers, the browser can follow your primary computer or let you choose one.
Open a session from a paired computer
Nothing extra to do. Once two computers are paired, sessions with remote control turned on appear in the other computer's sidebar with a remote mark.
When this computer is offline
The browser waits and reconnects on its own once this computer is awake and Mach Studio is running. Nothing is lost in between.
To review or remove browsers that have access, see Manage devices and access.
